Fitz landed not too far from the girl and looked up, rumbling still. Why wouldn't she move faster? Damn it- he wanted to go home! An irritable huff of breathe slid into the air and then the alligator really snapped at her ankle. Move it.

Maria let the alligator snap at her ankle. Blood trikled down her ankle now along with three deep holes in her ankle. She stung, but she didn't care.
I don't care if you kill me. You can at least give me the respect of shifting and actually talking then shifting back to kill me, ya know? She asked him looking at her ankle, the she drilled him in the eyes with a sharp stare. A stare of loyalty, mixed with iritation.

Fitz ignored the urges that told him to rip her throat open as some blood fell into his mouth. Once more, he looked towards his clothes before letting out an alligator hiss and sliding aroound Maria on the ground, not really sliding, since his legs held him off the ground, though his tail did drag against it. Besides, how could he trust her?

Maria looked out to the waves. Her leg was stinging.
She kept her eyes on the waves as she said, You don't think you can trust me? Why would you trust someone like me that you don't even know if I am lying about who I am or not....Hmm..Why would you not trust me? Do you not think you could trust someone that just let you take a bite out of their ankle? Why would I let you do that if i was going to kill you? Just shift and we can settle this matter. I am not going anywhere until we talk. She told him with her eyes still on the waves. It was dark and it was cool out side. Not cold to her, but still pretty cool. She was actually comfortable.

Fitz snorted; so she wanted to play stubborn? He could play stubborn. It was a trait his mother had taught him and Fitz had leanred well. Yes, they could play stubborn or they could make a deal. He flicked his tail in the direction of his clothes and then, suddenly, rammed his head into her leg, trying to tell her to get his jeans, because he sure as heck wasn't turning his back on her.
