Fitz snorted- she could attempt to play with him all she wanted, but the teen had grown up with a man playing mind games with him and his mother. Perhaps a shrink could get him to talk, but this cocky dog? Haha! He threw back his head, exaggerating the laughter ringing in his mind.

Maria chuckled in amusment... Well seeing that we are getting nowhere, I think i will take another swim.... She chuckled again. All part of her plan. In the water she could here the thoughts of others, she had the speacial gift of doing unusual things in the water......
She stripped back to her wim suite and walked to the beach gracefully. She climbed on top of a rock mid way out and dived from the top of it. She knew that the alligator ruled the water. Well so did she. It was her advantage being in the water.
She twirled under the water, pretending to dance.

Fitz watched her before narrowing his eyes, but he did not follow right away. He had no desire to be with the other and considered shifting, but also didn't want to get caught into speaking to her. He let out a puff of air and it seemed to swirl from his nostrils like smoke; as if he was some kind of deformed dragon. The scaly beast slowly slid forward and merely stood in the shallows, idiot girl. He thought this to himself before looking around the beach, scanning it for other forms of life.

Maria laughed under water. She spoke in the shifters mind, something she learned how to do when she was little. I am not an idiot. You know what's funny? She laughed a bit more and then continued. If we ever see each other again, you will know what I look like and try to kill me when YOU have the advantage, I don't know what you would look like, so I wouldn't be able to tell if i was suposed to kill you or not. Suc a pitty, no? She chuckled agin then shot out of the water, drops trailing behind her.
She took a deep breath while going up then dived back into the water and opened er eyes to be greated by a coral reef.

Fitz snorted; nobody thought they were idiots. Human nature, plan and simple. Some people said they thought they were, but, in Fitz’s opinion, they only half thought they were idiots. In a sense, it was true- nobody could be smart and know everything. There was just too much in the world to know. It was disturbing to him, though, having this girl in his head. He didn’t even like other Shifters in his head- damn it, it was his after all!
