Uli smiled and got up and did a little skip. He almost asked the dummest question ever, What about shifting? Won't that disrupt it...? He had almsot asked what the doctor had said... The doctor doesn't know about their 'gifts'.
Apparentally, today was random Uli day, after her thought about their gifts his mind side tracked into vampires... If Shape Shifters Mestaclocans were real what about the bloodsuckers? If so were they like normal people? Like he was, well or normal animals? ohh! and the myth of the devil in that forest someplace?
Again... random Uli day, whoot!
Uli looked at the door when his brain caught up with the world around him, he hadn't quite wrapped his head around the fact he was going to be a dad again, and Rachel was gunna be a mom. He wanted to jump for joy and felt invincable. Everything was good, but what about his questions? All of them, random and not so random???

Rachel looked at Uli with a serious face. She looked to the ground then back up at Uli. "Well, that depends. Katelyn has had some experience with all that, she was a mom once, you know?" She looked to the gorund. Only two people knew that fact about her and what had happened.
She then looked back up at Uli after remembering that night. "She said it depends on if you want your baby to shift or not, they would be a shifter by blood, and not by talent or learning. They would be orn a shifter, but that depends. If I shift a lot, while pregnant, then the baby will have more of a chance of becoming a shape shifter, and I can shift, but it is dangerous ,not for the baby, but for me. MY body can only hadnle so much, and it grows weaker everyday, so that would be our call whether I shift or not."
She looked back down to the floor again, a painful memory of what happened to Katelyn's daughter flashed into her mind. "Even if I don't shift while pregnant, there is a possiblity of our baby being a shifter, still by blodd, with both of us being shifters," Rachel said as she looked Uli in the eyes, as she walked over to him and put her arms around his neck. "It's up to you, I am fine with shifting, after all, I have been living in danger my whole life, right?" She asked, smiling.

Uli listened and tilted his head, out of lala land now. Katelyn? The goody good? Her? wow........ I can't see ehr, sorry. Not happening in my mind. and I don't care weather the baby shifts or not, maybe we should take a break from it for a while, for your safty? He gave a lite smile, he didn't want anything to happened to the two things he loved the most in the world, already.
Uli smiled and thought about Jerod, his own son, Jerod, was only half shifter and shifted. He was a tiger shifter, but he couldn't control it like we can. He learned how to shift early. I only know because I saw him shift before he..... you know. Uli looked at the ground.

Rachel smiled a soft smile as she looked at him. "Yeah, she had a daughter that died at the age of eight......" She said, vivid memories coming back to her head. She quickly shook them out and continued her convesation with Uli.
She put her hands on Uli's arms and looked at him, putting her finger under his chin and lifting his head up. She looked at him, with a soft expression, but one that had 'I'm so sorry' written all over it. "Yeah..I know.." She said as she kissed him and hugged him again. It was all she could do to keep herself from crying.
Rachel was eager to change the subject. "So are we going down to the pond or what? Oh, and so, do I lay low, or no?" She smiled as she put her hand on her hip and laughed.

Uli smiled at her and closed his eyes. HE could feel the tears welling up in his eyes then as she changed the subject ehr looked at her and smiled softly. Your choice, I just don't want to loose you... and that's sad. She knew her kid, I didn't know mine, yet I still felt like I lost appart of me in him.
Uli smiled and nodded then ran out of the door. His strides long and quick. Might as well enjoy running before your as big as a house. he laughed only meaning that as a joke, not to be serious.
