Domino looked at her and then at the ground. He drug his finger across the sheets. Yeah, but let's not talk about it. I don't know when I am. Domino looked up at her, his eyes burning. Slowly he stood up, grabbed his jacket and walked out. The doctor grinned, he shoved her out of the way and walked through the glass entrance doors.
He started into a jog through the parking lot, then sprinted through the small woods behind the Saint Marks. He slipped his jacket on and slowed to a brisk walk. It would be better if they never met again. She always got hurt around him, if she got hurt again it woulodn't wiegh on his shoulders. He walked some more. But the next time she was hurt, he couldn't come in to scoop her up and save her life, again. Domino flung the thought and ran more. He didn't want to shift, he just wanted to run until he couldn't anymore... To just forget all the hell of the past week. To forget about her.

katelyn's eyes became watery after she saw Domino walk out on her again. She picked up her phone which had ben laying on the table beside her bed. She got up and then walked out of the room and towards the back of the hospital. She thought about calling him, but knew he probably wouldn't answer. She finally just decided to text him. There was something I wanted to tell you... She sent to him in a text. She wished he would reply, but only so many wishes can be granted.
She got up, held her phone tightly in hand, waiting for a ring that may never come. She may have waited too long to tell him something that she wished she told him at school. The thing she wanted to tell him after school when they ditched, when she was in the hospital for the first time with him, when he had saved her life so many times. She may not get the chance again.
She walked towards downtown and walked into the Central Police Station, and her father awaited. He hugged her and then backed off, his eyes wide with disbelief. He asked her if she was sure and she nodded. He hugged her again and told her that he was proud of her for sticking with it for so long. She smiled and pulled away, then walked out, going somewhere, but nowhere in particular, but still waiting for a reply back from Domino.

Domino slowed to a walk when his phone buzzed in his pocket. There was something I wanted to tell you... He read and then put the phone back in his pocket. Took a few steps back and then leapt. Fire blazed over his skin, turning blue where his jacket was and then his paws landed on the ground, countinuing his sprinting gait.
He raced into the woods, his top speed and let his fur ripple in the wind. His paws hit the dirt and claws dug into the ground, pushing him forward. His pain and hate filling his legs as he ran. Hate at himself for being the jerk he was and pain for running from his feelings. Soonb he would be to tired, numb, and thristy to remember any of the day. Then he would remember, and start running again. Soon he would find a counrty road, find a farmer and start the life of a border collie again. Domino smiled, leaving Katelyn made his dream more of a reality. His mind started to go numb, his tounge flapped out of his mouth. He just kept running, his thoughts trailing in the dist.
