The new/strange girl

her mini-skirt white as snow. Her blonde hair blowing in the wind. She watched people stare at her in confusion as she pulled up to the school in her Silver 2042 Mercedes Benz convertible. She pulled the black suede cover on the car. She reached in the back grabbed her purse out of the back seat. she looked around in it and grabbed her brush and her make up bag she added a little bit more eyeliner, applied another coating of lip gloss, and brushed her bangs to the side of her head covering the cresent moon. she got out of the car shut the door and walked in the front door of the school she would now be going to. she went to the office got her scheduele and her locker number and combination. She held her head in pride as she headed down the hall way towards her locker, number 1089, she smiled as she saw people staring at her and it wasnt her clothes or her body. it was her forhead she took out her mirror and saw that her cresent moon had come out from under her bangs she fixed her bangs back as she saw her locker. she unlocked her locker put a few things from her back pack into her locker including a pic of her and friends from where she used to live she added some pics of her and her friends, a few books, she also added a small labtop case that held her labtop. Her phone started to go off as she got a txt from her friend Aphrodite from where she used to live they were best friends they grew up together. Her family moved wherevver Nyx's did. she smiled as she walked towards class. she waited as she heard the announcements come on and said tht there would be cheerleading tryouts this weekend. she took out her phone and added the tryouts she was going to make it! the bell for ending home room rang 50 minuetes later and she headed into the hallway and headed back to her locker fizing her bangs as people watched her again her cresent moon must be showing. she truly hated this mark.

Katelyn was in a hurry. She was suposed to be there two hours ago.

"You'll get used to it..." She told the girl with the cresent moon on her forehead.

Katelyn, being a cop, was occasionally late for school. Ocassionally being at least once a week.

She twisted the dial on her locker and opened it up. Inside her locker it looked like gadet central. It had a gun in a holster magneted to the side, a computer laptop set up in the middle and a police badge on the side opposite from teh gun. The locker also had a blue greent glow to it like the computer glowed or something.

Katelyn had a long sleeved white shirt on with skinny jeans and black and white sneakers: her usualy look.

Her sleeve came upto her forearm and revealed a vine pattern etched into her skin. She quickly pulled her shirt sleeve back down and made sure no one saw it.

"Hey Katelyn!" A girl that was passing by said as she quickly went down the hall trying to avoid being late for the next class.

Katelyn loved coming to school. Everyone loved her. She knew it was just because she was a cop, the youngest one in the world at that, but she knew they didn't like her for who she really was. Only one person seemed to do that.

"My name's Katelyn by the way." She said to the girl at the locker beside her. Katelyn shut her locker and turned to the girl next to her, waiting for a response.

"Im used to it already. i grew up getting these looks especially from my parents." she shut he locker ans saw a quick movement out of the corner of her eye and looked over quickly her blonde hairturned in the wind and then landed softly on her back. she smiled as she saw a smalle vinal pattern but she thought maybe it was just a string off her shirt but then she saw that her shirt was white hmmmm i wonder she thought to her self she smiled then saw a girl come by her and the black headed girl as she said hey katelyn Nyx looked at the black headed girl hmmmm katelyn is her name then im guessing Nyx smiled then heard ketelyn say "my name is katelyn by the way." then she turned to katlyn and and smiled she saw that she was waiting for a responce Nyx finally came to her sences and said "my name is Nyx by the way. she paused as she looked down at her schedule and then continued what classes do you have? she smiled as she waited for an answer from katelyn as she looked down into her eyes and saw that she was different then all of the other poeple at this school thats she had seen so far hmm... this girl is different she has a different soul these other people are normal. shes hiding a secret..... she smiled she had a talent for sniffing out secrets and gossip.

"Nice to meet you, Nyx." She said holding out her hand."I have the same classes as you. Its funny how htose things work out, isn't it?" Kateyln asked her letting out a short laugh.

Katelyn pulls strings every time a new kid comes to school. She makes sure she has the same classes as that person so she can show them around possibly and become friends. She wanted to show the new kids that there were actually some nice kids in this school.

"What's your animal form?" Katelyn asked her. She knew she was a shifter, she was advanced enough to be able to sence another one's presence, but no one could tel if Katelyn was one or not.

Katelyn's neckalce bagan to glow blue. A sign that another shifter was in danger, but not near. She hated seeing her necklace glow, it means another shifter was either going to be dead, or was injured very badly. She didnt know who yet, but that's what her necklace is here for. THat and it also holds her ability to shift. She is the most advanced shifter out of two. She cast her powers into a necklace and if she is injured severly, she can die if she doesn't have what's called golden Ichor.

Golend Ichor is the blood of the gods. It helps her and her friends, Rachel, heal. If she doesn't have the Ichor soon enough, then she can die.

Nyx looked at Katelyn and smiled "yeah it is wierd" she opened her locker again and grabbed her cell phone she needed to do something on there before she forgot... she was caught up in her cell phone when Katelyn asked "so whats your animal form" Nyx looked shocked how did she know?! she was screwed it was her first day and she was already wierd she didnt want this crap! wha...what do you mean?! she asked frantically she was hoping that she knew that she shifted. she looked up at her then she heard the bell 20 minuete bell ring. crap 20 more minuetes crap she didnt want to spill her secret she had tried to keep so well for the past 3 years..... she smiled at Katelyn and waited for an answer her blonde hair blowing in the wind then she noticed Katelyn's necklace... strange its glowing blue..thats not normal at all she looked confused as she noticed her neckalce glowing.
