The Game
Stawlk is a website based on it's members imagination and writing abilities. The game is one big story, continued on by the members characters that they play. Every person has one character that is active in the story.
The Plot
Stawlk is the world touching the heavens, between life and death, the shield that protects the Earth from the outside universe and rival forces. Three races live in Stawlk. The Fliers, the Stawlks and the Dreamers. They were once amazing allies, living in harmony and stopping the threats that rained down upon earth. But for unknown reasons, there was a big argument between Steilwing, queen of the Fliers, and Ember, queen of the Dreamers. Stawlk, the king of the heavens was unable to stop their fighting and faded. Soon, the squabbling turned to war. To this day, every Flier and every Dreamer is forced to fight a war for which even their ancestry cannot recall the reason for. Some wonder about the bloodshed, while others wreak havoc wherever they can. So it is up to you, and you only have two choices: seek out the reason for the war and try to stop it, or try to win the war and be crowned king or queen of your race. Your mission begins now. But first, you must decide which race your heart was destined for. Stawlks are amazing creatures. They have endless insight and wisdom and all have green eyes. They have the physical power and agility of the Fliers but the same predicting manner and sharpness as the Dreamers. On this game, only moderators are Stawlk royalty, and becoming a moderator is gained by privilege. You could be a Flier, a physically strong being with eagles wings on his or her back. They are amazingly quick and agile, and good with a bow and arrow. The Fliers live on the clouds in the sky. Or you could choose to be a dreamer, a mentally strong being with the ability to control theirs and others dreams and predict the future. Eventually, you will be able to alter fate itself, if you reach a Royal Stawlk state. Dreamers are great engineers-they even built the cities in the clouds that the Fliers live on. The Dreamers live on the tops of the mountains of the world. So which is it? Choose now, and end the war.
