Katelyn's rememberance of the past flashed before her eyes. Everything that had happened that one terrible night, flashed before her eyes, causing her to cry harder. She looked up slowly and saw that Domino was there. She pulled away at first, but then gave him a hug, burying her face deep in his fur. "I''m sorry..." She finally sasid as her tears softened. She drew back and put her head against the tree. Her eyes were red and swollen- something that did not go with her beautiful looks, but somehow still made her irrisistable.
Her skin was cold and her eyes red, but she still looked the same. She looked at Domino and laughed through her tears. "You're not the only one with a really messed up life," She said, finally, heer vision of the past over. She needed to have that breakdown somewhere else, but this could be a chance to tell Domino what had happened. Maybe. She didn't know if she would tell him or not.
She pulled her knees back up to her chest and layed her head in her knees and her arms over her head. She looked at Domino and then looked to the ground then started to hum a song her mom used to sing to her before she was murdered.

Domino looked at her and gave a small smile, he reached up and licke dher cheek. I am truely sorry. I was in a mood all my own... Domino looked at her, a small tear rolling downt he side of his muzzle.
He wanted to say more, he really liked her. More then a friend, but it wouldn't work out. He was crazy and if trouble wasn't brewing, it would boil anyways. He was a trouble maker with the heart of a stray dog. Very few were allowed in, except for him. He would let a serial killer have his heart, he had been hurt in the past. Hurt by ones he trusted. Want to skip the rest of class? Cause, I don't think I can write like this... he looked downa nd raised a paw at her wigling his small puppy toes.

Katelyn wiped her face with her hand. She looked at Domino and smiled. "I say so. My car is around the back if you want to ride with me. Maybe we can go to the park and play fetch with a few locals. That's always fun, have you ever tried?"
Katelyn got up then looked back at Domino. "And it's okay. I just had to get that out of my system. A rememberance of the past can do that to some people..... Expecially if it's one like I've had," She smiled softly then started to walk with him.
Katelyn forgoot about her past and tried to focus on just the future. There was nothing she could have done. You can't go back and change the past. It just is what it is. You can only fix and improve what's going to happen. Not what's already happened.

domino looked up at her as he walked when she stood. His head lowered and he took small strides, taking three to match on of hers. An idea clicked in is head and he wagged the long haired tail of his. Why don't we just do something simple? Something, stray dogs would do to have fun? Something like.... Domino looked around.
Cars were parellel parked in the streets and a long narrow wood was across the street. Domino glanced up before nipping her thiegh and sprinting the 200 yards across the street and into the thick brushy wood. Come run with me, puppy dawg!
The trees scratched at his fur, but no damage was done as he came to a halt, waiting for Katelyn and her doggy self. He knew it would be odd when she came through the trees, she would be twice his scrawny collie self. That's the way of the pooch.
Trees were swaying in the thin breeze, the crunching of leaves as they brushed past one another was alarming if you were scared. They sounded like humans walking through the undergrowth after you. Domino spun around and instantly lost his direction. All he had to do was wait for Kate though. The way she came torwards him would be the way to the street and the scent of the oil and gasoline would help him if he got lost aswell. So to a point, he couldn't get lost even in this thick off shrubs.
A soild, lone bark emerdged from his maw as he called for Kate. Come on Chicka!

Katelyn laughed as she started to run then she shifted in mid air as she jumped. She landed on the ground and barked, coming up behind Domino.
"Who's the puppy dog again? Just 'cause I'm younger doesn't mean I'm the pup." She said laughing. She nipped his tail and took off. She loved running.
Katelyn ran through the forest, she stopped and waited for Domino to catch up. She looked about and then barked again. She was having fun. Something that people made sure did not happen in school. You could only have fun outside of school. Or at least that was the case for Katelyn. "So," Katelyn started. She walked towards Domino and then continued. "Have you decided whether or not to join the football jocks next year? Or early this year?" Katelyn wass curious and she liked knowing things. She knew just about everyone one at that school and their relationship with other people. It wasn't that hard to keep track of after all.
