Domino yawned and stretched his legs. Watching her bolt in the other direction and sat down waiting for her to come, she did. The trees of the leaves sent a few shudders down his back as they scratched together.
On the arrival of Kate, and her question, he had smiled, simple really but what the smile was about was the unusual part about it. It was of adoration. Honestly he really liked being around her. It made him feel so calm and relaxed, but also gave him butterflies, something he hadn't ever had before. The oddest thing about it was it made him hold a secret from her, he loved her, in such a short time thats craziness, but he loved her, but he wasn't about to blab his mouth and tell her that, so he kept quite and let the butterflies fly again...
Kate walked through the trees and stood infront of him, relaxing he laid down in the crunchy leaves and twigs the trees had thrown. The long outstreched paws before him looked like a nice place to rest his head and so he did.
Eh. I'm not sure yet. I know I'm good at it, I played for a team a few years ago and we kicked major butt, but I don't want to turn into them and totally blow you off. It just depends on how I feel about it next year, anyways it's to late this year. I'll do track though... that I will. Grinning he looked up and then back down. The butterflies dashing around in a mad frenzy within his stomach walls.
He confronted himself, stop it! She's a friend! Don't you dare ruin it for yourself you freaking dummy! His thoughts calmed him only enough for him to look up at her a smile, relaxed again. His back arched and his legs scooted under him again as he rose, still a little bit shorter then Kate. A simple glare and then he wagged his tail and lowered his head to the ground and took in a deep breath scents striking his nose at an alarming rate. Deer. The smell of deer grazed him and he waited for nothing taking off. Come on! I'll show you a good time!
His black and white body dissappeared through the shrubs and trees.
Deer grazed in a large semi-circle infront of his as he crouched in the grass waiting for Katelyn. His eyes never left one of the young bucks in the herd, the deer never bothered to scent before he checked his does, he was new at this and needed a bit of a lesson to make him better. Well, there you go. Now Domino felt justified into at least scaring the crap out of that young buck, at most he would tackle him and bite at him, weather or not he would draw blood was weather or not that deer tried to help his herd, if not he would draw, if he did he wouldn't... so many desisions, and only one deer.
Domino zoomed out of his daze and watched the moves of the deer, the others around him were starting to spook and the buck was simply herding them in by making circles and lashing out at any who were trying to make a run for it. Selfish jerk, only care about how many times you'll get to reproduce. Such a jock. Domino grinned and almost laughed. That would maybe have ruined everything...

Katelyn laughed as she ran to him and then waited as she watched him run after the buck. "Oh yeah, that looks like fun!" She said as she ran around with him.
She went around the other way and almost got kicked by another deer animal thing. She wasn't sure if it was deer, elk, or another type of deer. So we are just going to call it a deer type thing for now.
She scared the buck and laughed. "Oh and if it's any consolation, I think you would make a great jock," She smiled as she rememeered his reply to her question about whether or not he would join football.
Katelyn was having fun. Something she had not done in a while. She had had fun shooting people and smacking them if they got her mad or in her way, but she hadn't had a friend like Domino in a while. She really enjoyed being around him. He was exciting.

As predicted, the buck shot away from the herd rather then standing his ground to protect them like he had seen other bucks do. He charged it, the whitetail buck shot in the other direction and Domino took four bounding leaps at it before he managed to tackle the heavy animal to the ground. At first horns and hooves shot out in all directions as the animal tried to flee, but then it just laid there. Tharn. Domino snorted as he leaped off the animal. It laid in the dirt his heart rate was loud enough to hear and it made Domino a little mad at the though that he couldn’t scare him anymore. Stupied animal.
Ah, we thanks, but I’m still undecided. His grin was happy when he turned to her. His eyes were soft and danced in the sunlight. Everything felt as if it stopped. His eyes launched to the tharn deer and he ignored Katelyn for a moment, the butterflies shooting through his stomach like shards of a grenade.
The second Domino stood the deer launched it’s self up and away. Domino gave a loud bark and then ran after the heavy built creature again, he managed to draw blood from it’s hind leg and then get a swat in the chin from it’s hoof.
Both Domino’s and the Deer’s blood ran down the side of his mouth. Ignored. The frightened and now injured animal was limping as it ran, He should have stood his ground. Fleeing like a coward made him easier to get to, dumb animal. In a deers world it’s every creature for themselves, but maybe he’ll learn his lesson? Domino averted his gaze to the ground and didn’t look up at Katelyn.
Well what now? The herds gone and I’m bleeding… but it’ll stop in a minute or two so no problem there. Grinning he finally managed to pull himself together enough to look up at her and sit beside her.

Katelyn looked at Domino. He was acting funny for a couple minutes so she decided to ask, "Is there something wrong, Domino? You keep acting funny," she said as she sat down on the ground and looked at him with concern in heer eye. She put her hand on his head as she shifted and then looked at him with human eyes.
"Is there something you keep wanting to say or talk about? Because if so, I'm all ears." She said, still looknig at him. She hoped he was feeling all right. He had not looked at her much of today and she wasn't quite sure. Katelyn looked at thr gound and remembered when they had first met. She laughed at the thought. She then looked back up at Domino, a smile playing on the tips of her lis, and a twinkle in her eyes, and her skin pale and cold even though she was in the sun. Her skin, the addictive skin of her's to touch, glowed in the setting sun and her hair looked like it glowed too. She sat there, legs stretched out and crossed over one another, waiting for a reply from Domino.

Domino watched Katelyn and as she shifted and put her hand on his forehead. He wagged his tail I'm fine and dandy! Just kind of tired you know. A small grin laid on his face as he looked at her, lying, he hated liars and now he was one.
Slowly he managed to pull himself up and stretch out his legs slowly. What do you want to do now? Trying his hardest to just drop the subject all together before he blurted something out he was holding in. Domino thought about what was around these parts that they could do, human or dog. Let’s see.. There’s the beach, Restaurants… as soon as he thought of a restaurant his stomach lurched. That was to much of a date.. No scratch that, what about..hmmm. Oh perfect! Domino tore off through the trees, Follow me!
Domino ran up to his favorite place at the best time. Sunset. The ledge was high over the ocean water and he use to cliff dive, it was exuberating and just plain fun! With a quick glance backward Domino shot himself off the edge of the cliff and howled as he fell, his howl interrupted by him hitting the water.
His legs touched the bottom and he shoved off and did the doggy paddle to the surface and shook his head and barked.
Swimming towards the surface he crawled out and shook the water from his coat then ran back up toward the cliff.
