[size=1 Taylor shot up from his snooze when the door hit the wall. Shit! He ran outside and shifted. He could travel quicker at least. When he got to the cliff he shifted again then something caught his eye. He smiled then shifted and walked away. Rachel was safe.
A figure swooped directly at rAchel when she jumped. The jaws grabbed her shirt and pulled her up. Strengh gave out and both shifters tumbled to the ground. He craddled Rachel in his arms and cried, from joy. I love you, I love you. his voice was rough. It bruned to talk and his blood was covering him.
Uli wept happily, but knew life wasn't perfect just yet. He had lost alot of blood.
Taylor walked over to the two, horse. Offering a ride. He hadn't brought a car with him. A horse was quick enough though right?

Rachel looked up and saw Uli was holding her. She threw her arms around him and cried. "Uli!" She managed to say during sobs. She looked down and saw that he was bleeding. He looked like he was about to fall over.
She looked up at the shifter that was still horse. "Can you carry him?" She asked, still crying. Rachel waited for an answer back from the shifter and then looked back at Uli, her eyes full of tears. "I- I thought you were dead." She said as she hugged him again and kept crying. She was happy and sad at the same time.
Rachel held him for a few moments longer and wanted to kiss him, but he needed medical attention. Fast too. She loved him and wanted to stay wrapped in his arms for forever, but he needed to heal first. They both did.

Uli smiled and struggled to stay awake. His body ached and it hurt to breath the salt water had burned his lungs and throat. I thought I was too. It felt like a thousand gun shots when I hit the water and it knocked the wind out of me. but some miracle helped and now I'm here. he grimaced and looked at Taylor and nodded a thank you.
Taylor bowed his head and nodded to Rachel.
Uli got up and got on the shifter, Thank you He helped Rachel up then rested as the horse/shifter galloped. He went in and out of blackness and then they were at the hospital. Uli said another thank you as he dismounted and walked a few yards. Doctors helped Rachel and him intot he hospital. Blood was rushed back and forth through rooms and around the hospital. Before long pain blazed Uli as he passed out.
When he woke up a nurse was taking his vitals he looked at her and sighed. He was still alive. How's Rachel? the doctor took her stethoscope off and smiled.

Rachel woke up in the same room as Uli. She smiled for the first time in hours and said, "She's fine," It sounded full of drowsiness like she had been on sleeping drugs. She had been. The doctors had sedated her when she efused to be put into a different room. The actually had to sedate her twice. The sedative still hadn't worn off, but she was with Uli and that's what mattered most.
Rachel turned teh other way and looked at Uli. "How is Uli?" She asked smiling.
Rachel started to go off to sleep, pain burning her back and the sedative going throughout the rest of her body. She was still awake, but still asleep. She was in a light sleep and could hear everything being said, but just didn't respond anything but smiles and 'mhhmm' occasionally.

Uli smiled and shook his head, he sucked on his cough drop which seemed to help with his burning sore throat. He's doing just fine. Uli smiled, it felt good to be alive. He watched her slowly drift back to sleep and waved a seditive away and sat up in his bed. He flipped through the channels on the TV and enjoyed a small breakfast of oatmeal, to help his throat anything else would burn.
Uli reclined in hsi bed so he laid flat on the bed and dozed off some, waiting for the okay to leave. Like he would without Rachel. The more he looked at her the further in love he fell. He knew that was a good thing, but it was dangerous, like they had found out..
