I'll Be Right Here Waiting For You

Rachel kept crying. SHe looked at the shifter, still crying and longed for ULi. Her haert longed for him. She longed for him. She had lost her life. She had lost her love.

"Life isn't fair, is it?" She asked as she looked at the shifter and started to cry a bit harder. Rachhel put her forehead on her knees, hiding her face, but crying harder now as the scene of Uli's death kept replaying.

She looked out the window as it started to pour rain. It was now late night time. She wanted to go to sleep, forget what happened, to die. But her body wouldn't let her. She owuld never forget and there would always be a whole in her heart. Always. A hole that would never heal. Never heal in time, never heal with another love, never heal till she died and knew she was with Uli. Wrapped tight in his arms. His heart with his. She felt like going to the cliff and jumping off again. She would kill herself when she had teh chance. She had to find something or try to sneak past the other man that had saved her life.

No, Life really isn't fair. He offered a soft smile and looked at her. He felt horrible, he knew what she was thinking, she wanted to die. Just like he had so many years ago. You'll aways have that pain. You have to learn to live with it. Not to forget, but to live with it and learn to let it help you out. He stood up and looked around the room. Don't let him out of your life, embrace it and it will get better, not gone, but better

Taylor watched the minute hand pass by on the clock and waited for the girls reply. He wanted to cry, her pain brought his back from the depths. He had learned to live with the crator in his heart, like she would. Sometimes it felt like nothing lived inside of him exept a big black hole. That swallowed everything else up.

Rachel looked at the other shifter, putting her chin back on her knees. She didn't speak for a long minute, but then replied, through heavy tears now, "He was my love, my life. He is dead and now I have nothing to live for. The world wouldn't change anything if I died. The only way the hole in my heart will heal is if I kill myself, but you won't let me do that, will you?" She asked him, again, through tears.

Rachel did want to die, it was true, but she knew the other shifter wouldn't let her out of his site, even if he knew she wanted to die. She layed on the couch, her feet straight out and her hands over her stomach. She didn't care about the agony and pain that she felt where she had been stabbed twice, but she just stared out the window as thunder sounded and lightning struck and rain poured to the ground. She just waited. Waited till the other shifter ell to sleep, and that's when she would make her move. She would run out the door and to the cliff. She would kill herself. She could be with Uli then.

Taylor shook his head. HE saw her relax and closed his eyes, they were burning. Why was she so bent on trying to kill herself? Life was something to enjoy.. not take away from yourself.

He fell asleep. He let his gaurd down and he knew he would regret it but his eyes burned and needed to be closed, he fell deeper into sleep. Risky. He sighed deeply and let his thoughts drift away.

Rachel slowly got up from where she waas sitting. She tiptoed around the shifter that was asleep on the floor. She took her shoes off and went to the door. She turned the knob slowly and opened the door. It opened with a high pitch creek and then Rachel looked over at the shifter. She stepped out and then closed the door. She had on her same blue and black shirt that blended in to the night along with her skinny jeans. She walked slowly, already soaking wet, to the cliff.

She made it to the cliff without the other shifter following her. Freedom was ever so close when she got to the edge of the cliff. She stood there and looked down. A long way down, but she didn't care. She wanted to die and that was that.

She jumped off the cliff and remembered Uli as she did.
