Uli smiled when Rachel stabbed Ryan and kissed him. Relief flooded over his body. Then Rachel gasped. At first he didn't understand why she was bloodied, then the knife made him realize. Tears poored over her face then he was off the ledge of the cliff. Flying through air. Without wings. Ryan had him upside down. Shifting now would kill him, and rip him to shreads. He hit water and the air from his lungs left. Rach...
Everything flooded from his mind and he closed his eyes as the tides pooled him in. A knife goudged his heart. Life slowly slipped away from him. He shuddered and took a breath. Water rushed his lungs and he drowned.
Some say when you die in tides your soul is forever lost in the water where you died. Unable to break from the tides hold. This I don't know if it's true, but nothing special happened as Uli Ray died except his memories restored. Pain he had suffered, trials indured. Memories of Rachel. Then all was lost.
Taylor stood on the edge of the woods. His head lowered. If you looked at him he seemed nothing more then a strange horse, but then something more happened. Fire blazed over him as he ran forward and a human picked up the horses trail. He took the knife from the girls hand and threw it away. Hey hey hey, it's okay. shhh shhhh Taylor held his hand over her wound and made sure no blood came from it.

Rachel cryed. She felt a surge of energy in her now that she saw Uli fall to his death. "Uli!" Rachel screamed, her voice full of fear and tears. She pushed the stranger away and ran as fast as she could towards the cliff. If she saw Uli die, then she would jump. She couldln't live without Uli. She couldn't. She got to the edge of the cliff and was about to jump, when someone grabbed onto her and pulled her back. Hard. Rachel fought wahtever it was and kicked and screamed as she was lifted off the ground, and then tried to jump again, but then her vision went black. Something had hit her head.
She had tears still streaming down her face. She wanted Uli. He was her love. Her lover. Her life. If he died, then so did the life within her. She cried in her mind, tears still streaming down her face as she was knocked out cold. Rachel tried to wake herself up to jump off the cliff, but she was sttill in pain. Both physical and mental. Both in her back where she was stabbed again, and in her heart. Her head turned to liquid and melted as she saw Uli get pushed from the cliff.
Ryan pulled a hidden knife out of his belt loop and then stabbed Uli in the heart as Uli killed him. Ryan died with Uli. Two enemies fighting each other. One killing for the fun of it, and one, killing for a lover that he loved and gave his life for. One he lived for: Rachel.
Ryan died with an evil smile on his face and sunk to the abyss.

Taylor had seen the fight, the stabbing, even when the girl came and he knew her name. It was the last word the man, Uli had said before he fell. He clonked the girl on the head. Yes he even knew the horses. He sighed as he pulled the girl up and carried her. He felt so sorry for her, but time would heal this. Only time would heal these things. But for now she needed medical help. The thing time couldn't heal.
He whisled and the horses walked out. A white horse and a bay. Uli's horse and Rachel's horse. He set the girl on the bay one and hopped on the same horse. He held onto the girl and the white horse flanked the bay one.
Altai led the way. He knew the path home.
When Taylor got to the gate he hefted the girl down and walked inside, the gate hung loosly and the door was wide open. A dog stood at the door and looked at Rachel then understood and moved. Taylor placed rachel on teh bed in the largest bedroom and wrapped her wound and dressed it. He walked into the other room and sat down. I can't leave.. she'll kill herself again...

Rachel's face was wet with tears. She started to wake up. Her eyes fluttered and she sat upright in a jolt. SHe looked around and imediatly recognised the place. Rachel noticed her wound was wrapped as she felt the bandage around her waist.
She walked down the steps and entered the living room and saw the man. She walked over to the couch and curled up in her spot beside the spot where Uli usually sat. She stared at the spot, tears streaming down her face again. She put her head on her knees and just stared. Her heart ached and moaned for Uli's love, but it would not find him. He was gone. Forever.
Rachel didn't bother to even look at the man who saved her from killing herself, or even ask what his name was. She just wanted to think of ULi. The time where he fell off the cliff as Ryan catapulted them both of kept rerunning in her head. Over and over and over again.

Taylor watched her sit down and cry. He wanted to comfort her but saw she didn't want it. He leaned up against the side of the wall and watched her. Feeling sorry he had saved her. HE wanted to speak, to tell her everything was alright, but it wouldn't help. She was in pain, deep deep pain.
Taylor watched and then almost started to cry himself. I saw everything. I'm sorry. He gave a smile of sorrow and then stood up straight and walked over to her. He stood in front of her, so what he had done what he didn't want to do, which was talk to her. I'm a shifter too, so no worries I won't go blab my mouth... He had gone to far, he shut up and sat on the floor. Like a little puppy.
