Maria has dark hair, and different eyes. One purple one blue-ish green. she is not sure why this it, but she wears rown contacts when not at her home with her uncle, who, in all fact, abuses her. She has been beaten with drunk fists every day of her life and is still afraid of telling anyone about it.

Personality:

Maria is the opposite of shy: she is out going and smart. Very smart. Her mother was known for her intellect and she would be too, if anyone knew who she was. Her mother threw her out as soon as she realized that she was not human: she was Herilys and her mother was part shifter. She herself couldn't shift, but her parents could.

Maria is also one to earn trust when you see her. She trusts anyone she encounters.

She also does ballet and performs live every week on broadway. She is at least known for that tallent.

History:

Maria was taught to hate shifters and kill them when she had the chance. now she has learned that the shifters have some kind of desease that she will get if not slain. She has been in many battles with shifters, but still can't tell when she is in the presence of one. Shifters can't tell when they are in the presence of a Herilys, so I guess its even between the two.....

Now she lives in this small blasted town in the middle of nowhere and has very, very few friends as a result of being Herilys. She wishes sometimes that she was a shifter, but she is under oath to kill them if encountered.
