Kaitlyn saw by the shifter's light that he was telling the truth, so she relaxed and sheathed her claws. 'Right, well nexttime you should keep your instincts under control.' she muttered under her breath, knowing all to well that he could hear her. She then turned away pointedly and stared out at the vast expanse of sand. She suddenly let out a snarling roar that echoed against the sandstone boulders on the cliff. Within seconds a dark shape raced across the sand, tail streaming out and ears flat against it's head to protect them from the wind. It was a skinny black cat, with one ear ripped and torn. Kiri Kaitlyn voiced in her mind. I heard of talk among the cats at the port of a battle. You know anything? The little cat eyed her suspiciouslyWhy would me or my people know of anything to do with a battle? Her tiny pink nose wrinkled in anger. I wouldn't trust anything the port cats say, anyway.. she growled. Kaitlyn sighed. Keep your feud to yourself, Kiri. I'll see you later She then turned back to go only to realise the annoying shifter would have not got a clue about the seemingly silent meeting between the two cats. She stared at him mutinously, wondering what he would say.

Cats, I swear you felines butts are so tight you can't pass gas... you need to have fun sometimes....
Kyle snorted and watched the black cat dart away, freak. He snorted again and gave a wings beat as he approached the feline. His head was low and he gave a hard shove. His strides grew longer as he rushed, his paws met one last part of earth before he pulled his head down, and only the top part shown. He attempted to head butt the feline, and take her over the edge of the cliff. Of course, she wouldn't die, a wolf with wings was only trying to have fun, he would catch her there was a small ledge about 50 feet down, he would make sure to grab her beofre they got there, then all would be well.
He pushed up from the ground and got in position to head butt the cat. What if she tried to scratch him? No, she wouldn't be stupied enough, she would be over the edge by then, if she didn't move that is. and if she was over the edge, and tried to hurt him, she might just go all the way down...

Kaitlyn saw what the wolf's intentions were, and heard his insult. When the wolf suddenly charged in an attempt to drive her off the edge of the cliff. His skull connected with her side, driving the wind from her lungs and flinging her over the edge. She immediately flipped around and dug her claws into the sandstone to prevent herself from falling to fast, but it was not enough to stop her completely. Ha bloody ha. Her smouldering eyes spotted what she was looking for in an instant. A small hole in the cliff, almost unnoticable unless you knew what you were looking for. With a huge amount of effort, she clawed her way across the cliff untill she was safe inside the cave. It was small, but she didn't really have any time to complain. She had only known about this cave because the ground had crumbled underneath when she had been here a few months earlier. She wondered if the wolf had meant to kill her, or he was just playing some kind of sick joke. 'Here doggy, doggy.' she mumbled uunder her breath, waiting for him to swoop past her hiding spot.

Kyle took a small circle and came abck to the cliff, he could see a darker spot and guessed that's where the cat was. Figures, always gotta ruin teh fun. I'm not that stupied pussy cat. He growled and landed on a small ledge on the side of the cliff ten feet from the small cliff. I've been here plenty of times to know theres a cliff cave there. And a ledge here.
Kyle waited for a reply, he knew she was in there, either that or she was dead. He smiled, maybe/hopfully it was the second one. He gave an evil grin and barked. Rock slide down the cave side and he barked again, more rocks fell. They made a loud thundering noise as they tumbled down, he took off in a wings beat and dodged a few of the rocks, carful not to go near the cave entrance.

Kaitlyn was not in the best of moods, especially when dislodged rocks tumbled down the cliffside, narrowly missing her and covering her with dust. She was (is this possible?) starting to see the funny side. She scrambled up the cliff face, neatly avoiding any more renegade rocks. 'Glad you're IQ is at least in double digits, then!' she retorted. The shifter was annoying, and he had called her friend a freak, but maybe it was time to live a little... She thought this as she rhythmically washed all traces of dust from her spotted pelt. Between licks, she added 'Flying Wolves...they are so annoying, I'm suprised someone hasn't killed them all off yet.' She finished cleaning herself, then inspected her claws carefully, making sure she hadn't pulled any out. She looked back up at Wolfy, wondering if he would like a taste of his own medicine...
