Kaitlyn considered the situation. 'Well almost...except the fact that I am going to have to give you those painkillers, otherwise you aren't going to be alive in the morning. Like it or lump it.' She shifted, and raced across the short expanse of scrub, where there was a small, basically falling apart, car. Don't ask why Kaitlyn was driving at 13 without a licsense. She wouldn't tell you. Within a minute, she was back at the rocks. Even so, the temprature drops fast in the desert, and it was now starting to get very cold. She dropped a box of pills and a warm fleece by Wolfy's head. 'Let me make this nice and clear, Mr I-wanna-die. You use those. Or, you die. Your choice.' She kept an eye on Wolfy, to make sure he actually followed her advice for a change. He was almost asking for a swipe around the ears, but she resisted.

Kyle growled again. He nosed the pain pills away. Like I said, I would rather DIE then take help from a cat. He gave a hard glare and pushed up. Blood drizzled from his mouth and he gave a hard pusha nd stood. Wobbly. See I'm fine. Kyle growled and spat again. At the cats feet. He took a very unsterdy step and made it a few feet ahead before pain made him drowsy.
Pushing the pain to the side he sat down. Physically drained. He stared at the pain pills. Boy he was stuborn. He wanted them but his ego drowned pain out and he snorted mostly at himself. never help from a cat... never ever ever. he must have sounded like some foolish child, but he wouldn't let himself take help from a feline.

Kaitlyn watched as the shifter took one look at the help she had offered to save his life. She watched as he spat at her feet, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. She watched as he refused again. 'What's wrong with me?' she asked quietly, looking at the shifter straight in the eye. 'What is so wrong with me, that you would rather die than offer my help? That you would throw your life away, just to spite me?' Her voice wobbled slightly, but she remained cool and calm. 'It's just, i would like to know. Please tell me when you are ready, then you can waste your last hours somewhere where you can't see me.' She sat down on a nearby rock. It felt like all the taunts, the cruel jokes, the jeering, all the things people had thrown at her since she woke up on the hill, had just come crashing down on her shoulders like a ton of bricks. Her eyes looked down at the dusty rocks at her feet.

The painful ness in the girls voice didn't break him down or make him feel bad he snorted. Felines. Your feline. Isn't that enough? Have you ever seen the book of animal laws? Cat and dog.. HATE eachother. You helping me was a waste of your time cat. He snorted. It was his blood to hate her.
The pain pills looked good when he snorted, and blood rushed his mouth. Drool started to hang from the corners of his mouth mixing with blood. It was nasty, but he was use to it by now.
Rolling his eyes he stood up and ripped apart the box of pills and gulped down two. Happy? He was standing, which was hard to do in the pain he was in. His wing hung limp and his side looked deformed, almost indented. This was to be expected when the whole side of your body had been crushed by boulders bigger then you.

Kaitlyn listened to what the shifter said, thought for a second then...burst out laughing. 'Dogs and cats...honestly that sounds so stupid. I know plenty of cats who are friends with dogs.' She regained composure, then remembered Wolfy's wing. It stuck out at and odd angle, unlike his other wing, and was obviously broken. 'You're going to have to put that in a cast, you know...oh wait, you don't have any of the materials.' she said, but this time there was laughter in her eyes. 'But of course...dogs can NEVER be friends with cats...' she started laughing again, then said, 'Well when you are ready to swallow your pride in exchange for being able to fly again, then let me know.' She waited, wondering if Wolfy still had his death-wish, or if he was ever going to accept he needed her help to survive his injuries. 'Dogs and cats can NEVER be friends..what a load of tripe' she mumured under her breath, thinking of the pack of wild dogs that lived near the harbour.
