'Good God. You really are stupid, aren't you?' said Kaitlyn, almost taken back, as Wolfy limped furiously out of the door, doctors close behind. 'Go ahead, go and throw youself off a cliff or something.' she said, opening a newspaper and checking out the days new's. She heard a 'Gotcha!' and a furious shout. 'When you catch him, please don't take any blood; he's haemophobic.' she shouted out of the door. That would piss Wolfy off, but then again she had already done that. At least that would make his stupid conspiracy theory die, for now. What a jerk. He's going to give himself another stroke if he's not careful. Which, judging by his behaviour, he won't be. A few more shouts and growls from outside. Last time I ever go out in public with a flying wolf.

Kyle growled and lipmed out of the door only to be netted, like a damn animal. He fell on the ground and people crowded around him. He growled and people jumped back as he tried to stand.
A doctor shoved him to the ground and he fell backwards. He leaped up getting his body free of the net and bolted away.
Doctors followed him as he ran and then he was trapped. A cliff was between him and freedom. He peered over the edge as a net launched itself at him again. Pepper spray littered the air and he stumbled back. Falling from the cliff. He couldn't shift, the net hovered over him and he couldn't have a mirical. There was no soft ocean below, just sharp rocks.
Kyle hit the rocks and his eyes grew larger. Blood spouted from a wound in his chest and when he looked down he saw why. A rock had gone through his chest. At last pain shot through him and he blacked out. His life's story raced around in his head and then he felt himself shudder and try to live. Then the world stopped turning. He no longer breathed and his eyes no longer would flutter open...

'What the-?' Kaitlyn shouted when she saw the net get thrown onto Wolfy. 'He's not a bloody animal!' She ran out to get it off him, but two of the doctors grabbed her arms. She kicked one of them where it hurt, and snarled at the other one. It must have given him a shock to hear the growl of a big cat come out of a skinny thirteen year old, so he let go. Kaitlyn ran towards Wolfy, and skidded to a halt as the world slowed down and....ground to a halt. In slow motion, she saw Wolfy screw his eyes up against the pepper spray, stumble backwards, and fall back onto ground that wasn't there. His pupils widened and he opened his mouth, maybe to scream, or call for help. She would never know. No...I don't even know his name......No! She barely noticed the doctors that barreled out of her way as she shifted and plunged over the edge of the cliff. She dug her claws into the soft, clay-like rock, and used a series of crumbly ledges to make her way down, blind to her own safety. It was only when she reached the bottom of the cliff that she realised it was hopeless. A shard of rock jutted out of Wolfy's chest like a fork and blood oozed out of the wound. His glazed, sightless eyes stared defiantly into the blue sky and his mouth gaped open in a last, angry growl that he would never utter. No...Starclan, no... She rested her head against his lifeless body, in a traditional sign of mourning. Then she raised her head up to the doctors peering triumphantly over the edge of the cliff. Time to kick some traitor scum ass. She scrambled up the cliff and stood facing the doctors, bloodied, muddied and furious. She leaped at the nearest one, jaws opened in a silent howl of anger, but before she could strike a death blow, something pierced her flank. She felt woozy. Verryyy ttired. Mmaybbe a little rest woulldnn't hhuurrtt...
The doctors picked up the sleeping form of the ocelot, and shoved her into a nearby van. After quickly checking she was alive, they packed away the tranq gun and climbed into the van. The purr of the engine was the last sound Kaitlyn heard before her senses were plunged into the darkness...
