Katelyn dug her swrod's tip into his neck further. She cocked her head to the side and was curious now. "I know you know that I know that you know that I can kill you right now and they won't care. Savvy?" She told him as she turned her head. She raised an eyebrow and smiled evily.
"These are Lycan. They are sort of like werewolves, but they don't change into human. They are permanetly half human half wolf.
"They have a long history, which I would not like to repeat here, if you don't mind... But this is Nakilak, the leader of his pack; the alpha of this territory. Isn't that right, Nakilak?" She mused.
"Yes. That's right." He nodded as he winced when the sword pushed more inot his neck. He had a gravely voice and it sounded like someone was beig choked and it made you wince or cowar evertime you heard the voice, but that's the way all Lycan talk.
"What is your business here?" She asked the lead Lycan as he looked back at her with hunger in his eyes. Hunger not for food, but for blood and power.
He answered in his same voice; gravely and evil sounding. "There has been an outbreak. We might have to make an aliance for this upcoming event in which you know what I speak of." He said.
Katelyn interpretted what he said to the other shifter at her side. "He is talking about the war..." She told him, but then let the Lycan continue.
"Great forces have been unleashed and the gods are gonig on our side thinking that we will win the war. A few of my kind have berayed our race, but a few have also 'betrayed' us. They are working as spies, sending various creatures back to our layer.... That is, if you remember what it looks like" He snickered at the last part. It sounded more like a hoarse laugh.
katelyn translated once again. "I was captured or mind you, kidnapped, by Lycans when I was little. I spent about three months with them before my father and friend Rachel came and rescude me."
She said as she dug the sword deeper into his neck.

Lycan... Nathaniel stared with undisguised loathing at the Lycan, but before he could speak to it, it suddenly let out a howl. 2 other howls replied the call, followed by several more, echoing off the trunks of the sentinel trees. 'Must dash, someone's coming for dinner.' the lycan leered, then ducked away from the sword with lightning-quick speed and ran away into the woods. Nat suddenly felt very tired. Everything happens to you, eh? a little voice in his head commented dryly. He turned around to the girl, and said 'I'm Nat. As you might have seen, im a lion shapeshifter. You are...?' he prompted, wanting to know more about the person who had just saved his life out of the blue. Then another thought occured to him. 'And how did you find me anyway?' he queried, feeling slightly confused.

"I will come with our leader later, Nikilak!" She yelled into the forest. Katelyn knew that she needed to get help for the shifters side if they wanted to defeat the Herilys. They were growing stronger everyday.
"My anme is Katelyn." She smiply stated as she started to hike back up the mountain.
Katelyn liked to remain mysterious incase someone ran into her and recognised her or anything. If she was undercover, she oculnt risk having someone recognise her. SHe kept her distance from people, hiding in the shadows and in a mask.
She always liked scouting things like people, or doing undercover jobs. She was dazzling and could be forecful and could get information out of anyone if needed.

'...Cool. Who is 'our leader', then?' Nat said. He wasn't going to let her get away with it so easily. He would read her mind and get the answers, but she obviously had met that kind of talent before, and was covering up her thoughts with a kind of mental block.Nat had seen this kind of prtection before, but he just couldn't push his mind through the barrier. 'Well?' he prompted, wondering if he was ever going to get a straight answer out of this girl; he could tell by the way she talked and the faint glow of light that escaped out of her shield that she was a cop (It was impossible to disguise you entire light, only things like the Lycan, gods and members of Starclan had no light.) and cops normally were always trying to get rid of him, they didn't like his unnerving way of guessing their thoughts. He followed the girl up the mountain, determined to get an answer.

Katelyn laughed a haugty laugh and then ubruptedly turned on the shifter. "Look, I don't like you, you probably know that already, I don't like Lycan, I don't like running into everybody or saving their lives. What happened back there, is nothing of your concern. Our leader is the leader of the shifters. The almighty leader of the shifters, mind you.
"The Lycan have been at our side for hundreds a year. They have tresspassed, and they kill, and they are worthless creatures, but they get the job done. My history with the Lycan you do not want to know." Katelyn said so matter of factly. She sounded upset.
"Our races have been together a long while and we are not gonig to just give up on our other race now. So why don't you go study up on your shifter history and come back?" SHe said sarcasticaly as she started to climb the mountain again.
"Oh yeah, you're not the only one that can read minds, you know? And you're not the only one who can see lights." She said, turned face away from him as she continued climbing the steep hill. The hill grew more steep as they went up. Good thing Katelyn had done this a million times over again.
