Well, that is obvious... 'Fine. You go and have fun brooding by yourself. I'm not completely useless, you know, so don't demean me, okay?' he said angrily, whipping back to where he came from and sitting down in the clearing. He didn't care if he got ripped to bits by a Lycan, he just wanted to get away from such an unpleasant and self-obsessed person. He shifted and started grooming his shaggy fur, long tongue washing off any dirt and blood. What was the point of saving me if she dosen't want to talk to me? he thought huffily as he cleaned himself, dark thoughts gathering like storm clouds. I almost wish she had left me alone, so I could fight my own way out. I managed it last time.He shook his head angrily. He did not want to bring up those memories...

[blockquote]"Although...." Katelyn mused as she started to turn towards him. He was already back in the clearing and shifted as he cleaned himself.
"Although, I can tell you a couple things... And I do not mean to be mean to you, I simply know something about you. Your future, that is." She implied as she started walking gracefully back down to him. She had an evil grin smited on her face, it made her look dark and mysterious with the white shirt and black skinny jeans she had on.
Her white shirt stood out against the night as she did. Her flowing black hair was down to her mid back and was silky and soft. She wore black sneakers with white tops and brown bottoms. She actually looked kind of cute in what she was wearing. She had a braid going down the left side of her hair all the way down. [/blockquote]

Nat didn't even look around.' Do you know how many times I have heard that?' he said. 'Every time I have said yes, it has made my life worse and worse. Now I have found it's easier not to know about the future.' He turned around, his lion eyes fixed on hers, twin points of golden flame. 'Go...away.' he growled. The last time someone had told him the future, he had realised his best-and only-friend was going to die.Does she know what it's like hanging out with your best friend, only knowing he is going to die within hours? He turned away and stared angrily into the trees, tail twitching side to side to let the other shapeshifter know he was not in the best of his moods, and claws unsheathed. She had better not mess with him.

"You really need to learn how to put an emotional barrier up.." She told him as she looked at hte ground and started walking towards him. She sat down only feet away from him and closed her eyes.
"Look, I know what it's like to loose a friend. I know what it's like to see into the future and know when, how, and why they died. I can see you have had that happen to." She told him. Her voice faltered as she spoke.
Katelyn's alway been able to see into the future, even as a mere child.
Her brother, she saw dying at the hand of a monster. She had gotten in a fight with her brother and he went off to the woods and died in vain. He died because of her. One foolish mistake and her brother was dead. One foolish mistake of her's.
The other shifter would not proul trough her mind. She had a special way of protecting her mind. And she had a way of hiding her light if she wanted to. To the other shifter that could see the lights, her light would have just gone out, which revealed she was telling the truth and remembering about her past. But that's the only thing it would have showed.

Nat's features softened.'Well then, you will realise why I don't want to know. I'm sorry if I said anything...' he trailed off. He hadn't meant to bring up any bad memories. He shifted back to a human, his fingers automatically reaching for the stone around his neck. It glowed gently, the words on it standing out more than ever. 'Well...I better go.' he said, turning to leave. He wished he could have made friends with the shifter, it would have been nice to have had at least one friend in this place. He turned to leave, heaving a sigh. Guess my luck is never going to turn out He wondered if the words on the stone were true. It might havebeen possible a few months ago, but it was nowprobably never going to happen. His feet crunched on the dry leaves as he began to walk back home..
