Who said cats can't swim?
Nathaniel swayed at the edge of the cliff face, his hair waving gently in the sea breeze, and his eyes were fixed on the horizon
He loved cliff diving.
As he prepared to jump into the freothy water and the unknown, he thought he caught sight of something in the dense forest behind. But he paid no attention to it. He positioned his toes so they were as close to the edge as possible, and jumped.
The air swirled around his face, combing through his hair and making his eyes water. He shouted, one long glorious shout, and hit the surface.
The water hit him like a smack in the face, and bubbles traipsed up to the surface. As he drifted down, he watched a shoal of fish swim in panic.
He resurfaced laughing and smiling. 'Whoever's up there, show yourself.' he shouted, suddenly alert.

Rachel came out rom the forest and started to run towards the edge of the cliff. She got to the edge of it, put her toes on the edge and pushed off from the edge. She was soaring through the air.
She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply as she fell from the cliff.
She landed right near the person she was watching and splashed him with a wave of water as she broke through the top head first.
Rachel loved the water. She was a daughter of Poseidon so, naturally she loved the water. Technically was she a daughter of Poseidon. She was a horse, a flying one at that, so that technically made her the daughter of Poseidon.... It was complicated, but she was. She could breathe underwater and dive very well. She loved being in the water. It was the one place she could think.
OOC: Any resemblence? :P :)

Hey. Another cliff diver. Maybe this place won't be as bad as the others..
'Noooo....you're doing it all wrong' he shouted playfully over the crash of the waves, even though the girl had execute dthe dive with perfect precision.'Youv'e got to hold your hands like this..'
He flapped his arms manically, showering the other girl with spray and grinning a smile full of clumsy kindness. His light was the same as the other girls;still red-orange due to the adrenaline rush.
As he studied the girls light, he realised with a jolt that there was something diffrent about this girl. Her light reminded him of clouds and the mossy smell of forests and overpoweringly...horses. He didn't understand. Was the girl a manic horse rider? He paused in his eccentric comedy routine, and shouted over the waves,'Wait a sec....am I correct in guessing you're a....shifter?' He had only met one shifter before; Mr Briggs, the owner of the childrens home. He was the one who had helped him escape from the childrens home six months ago.

Rachel laughed as she started to float on her back in the water. "Your guess is accurate, shifter." She told him.
Rachel started for the cliff again, swimming slowly. She put one hand up on it and then anotehr, soon she was climbing the cliff. She got about mid way on the cliff and jumped off exploding in blue light while doing it. Soon she was flying with wings over the ocean. A pegasus. A beautiful pegasus. She soared out to the open water but then circled around and landed upon the top of the cliff. She changed back then stepped on the edge of the cdliff and looked down.
"Well, not only a horse... Pegasus." She laughed. She waited for a response back from the shifter below her.

Nathaniel looked up in wonder at the pegasus as it circled slowly above him before landing and changing back into a girl again. The only other shifter he had seen had been a grizzled old tiger, worn with age. It had still managed to tell him the ancient legends of Starclan and the famed Greek Gods. He felt like showing off, so he shifted into a huge lion, far bigger than any normal feline of that species. It felt so good to be in his true form again, so he gave a little growl of satisfaction. One stroke and he was at the shore. Three neat bounds, and he was standing next to the girl whilst shaking his honey-coloured mane to rid it of water(He could have climbed up the cliff, but it was undignified). To late he realished his mistake of showering the girl with drops of salty seawater, and apologised endlessly, even though his mane had dried already due to his unusually high body temprature, which nearly everybody commented on and was highly embarressing. he shifted his feet about anxiously while he waited for the girl's response.
